One of my favorite parts of planning a baby shower is looking up baby shower invitations ideas! Whether you look online or go to a local craft store the ideas are endless. It definitely goes way beyond just pink or blue note cards with a date and a time inside. From scrap booking items to baby shower favors the options are amazing.
If there is a particular craft you like to do, you may want to consider making the invitations yourself! For example if you like to scrapbook you may want to consider making the invitations yourself using a hearty paper like card stock as a base and layering different papers and such on top of it. Or if stamping is your thing, use your stamping skills to create the baby shower invitations! No matter what crafting or hobbies are important to you, by using your creativity the baby shower invitations will surely stand out!
If you don't have time to make your own invitations there are plenty of darling cards you can purchase and fill out the details yourself. And if you don't already have a theme in mind this would be the perfect place to choose one. This way you can easily coordinate the rest of the baby shower to match the invitations. Baby shower invitations ideas can be found online or in your local stationary or card shop.
One item in particular that can be used as either an invitation or a baby shower favor is a chocolate bar with a custom wrapper. The wrapper can be used for all the pertinent baby shower time and date details or it can be used as a favor and thank you card to guests. There are several companies that will make these up for you, over speciality chocolate bars and then customize the outer wrapper for you.
Or you can do it yourself. Simply go to the grocery store or candy store and pick out the bars you want. I'd suggest using flat chocolate bars since the wrapper will lay smoothly and be easier to read. Once you've got the chocolate bars you can make your own custom wrappers. Here the options are only limited to your imagination. Do you use a computer to design the labels or will you create something by hand? Both options look amazing, just go with something you want to do, because otherwise the job could get tedious!
Something else that could get tedious when it comes to baby showers is making unique baby gifts for the expecting mother. Not that the unique baby gifts are tedious, more that if your friends and family start expecting you to make those wonderful gifts every time someone you know has a baby that would get tedious. Especially if you spent a good deal of time making the gift and it wasn't all that fun in the first place.
Baby showers don't have to be the same old thing every time. There are many things you can do to find baby shower invitations ideas that are as fun as the baby shower favors and unique baby gifts!
